Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with over 7 years of experience in IAM or related IT security roles. In-depth experience with SailPoint and its connectors, strong expertise in IAM concepts, RBAC, and protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC are essential. Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR), and advanced knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, and IT controls are also required. The ability to identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, experience with access certification, role management, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, are necessary. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments collaboratively. Bonus points for experience with identity solutions like SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), Saviynt, Okta OiG, and Okta Workflows, proficiency in development tools and scripting languages (Java, Python, GoLang, PowerShell), and familiarity with SIEM/observability tools (Splunk, Logscale, LogRhythm, DataDog, Kibana).
The Sr. IAM Operations Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the IAM/IGA platform infrastructure, providing day-to-day operational support, and monitoring system health. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, managing incident response, and ensuring compliance with security policies, regulations, and operational needs. The role involves optimizing access management processes, generating and analyzing performance reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and reliability. Responsibilities also include streamlining IAM processes through automation, enforcing IAM policies and standards, and collaborating with senior leadership to evaluate and recommend IAM best practices. The engineer will stay current with industry trends, assess and optimize IAM-related workflows, and drive initiatives to increase the reliability and efficiency of IAM operations. Facilitating training and knowledge transfer sessions, and identifying opportunities to simplify architecture and workflows to enhance user experience are also key duties.
