We're looking for a Staff Application Platform Engineer to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Enhance developer productivity by identifying and abstracting common functionalities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, design, develop, and implement best practices for platform engineering.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks that our systems may encounter.
• Maintain an unwavering focus on securing sensitive data, and ensure the reliability and performance of the platform.
• Monitor, tune, and improve application performance.
• Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Develop new services and enhance our existing system to accommodate new products.
• Improve platform resilience and efficiency, especially in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ideally Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Ability to collaboratively drive a project from design to operation independently.
• People skills to solicit org-wide feedback from other engineers to identify the best solutions for all.
• Proven skills in building secure, reliable platforms and complex modern web applications.
