Requirements

Candidates should possess more than 5 years of technical experience in cloud-based infrastructure platforms, extensive hands-on experience with computing, storage, and analytical services on AWS, demonstrated skill in programming and scripting languages including Python, Shell Scripting, Go, and Rust, experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools in AWS such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK, proficiency in Linux internals and system administration, experience in production level infrastructure change management and releases for high traffic & business-critical systems, experience in Cloud infrastructure and platform systems availability, performance, and cost management, and a strong understanding of cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance standards.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for architecting and building a robust, scalable, and stable infrastructure, building infrastructure that is easily maintainable during patching and upgrades without downtime, architecting infrastructure with AWS regional level failure tolerance, working together with Security Engineers to provision a secure infrastructure, automating AWS deployments to ensure fast delivery of Cloud Services to developers, and providing developers with easy deployment resources on AWS.
