Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in production distributed systems and backend engineering, along with solid engineering fundamentals, potentially including a computer science degree. Experience with job scheduling, concurrency, and scaling is highly desirable, and familiarity with Elixir is considered a significant advantage, though proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby, or Node.js is also valued.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with your team to execute on product goals and technical roadmaps, develop user-facing features in Elixir and Go backend services, build and scale the billing and usage platform, and contribute to identity and account management product features. Additionally, you will work on distributed notifications such as application webhooks and alerting features, ensuring the resilience and scalability of our customer-facing platform and contributing to new application code to support product features.
