Requirements

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience building software for, operating, or supporting large Linux-based web application environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with geographically distributed teams are essential. Experience with UNIX systems administration, scripting in Golang, Ruby, PHP, or Bash, and running Docker with an orchestration system like Nomad, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS is required. Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is also necessary. A passion for learning new technologies and languages is highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will apply software engineering and SRE principles to build, maintain, monitor, and operate complex infrastructure using automation tools. They will leverage scalable web architectures and cloud technologies, working with multiple programming languages like Golang, Ruby, and Scala. The role involves driving issues to completion and marshaling resources in high-pressure situations, acting as a bridge between infrastructure and software development.
