Role Description

As an Enterprise Pre-sales Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical expert driving the sales process for Lumos' largest customers. You will collaborate closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) and technical teams to scale our technical sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and product expert for Lumos prospects and customers, managing all technical aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and comprehensive solutions tailored to complex customer needs and business objectives.
  • Structure POCs with clear success criteria, taking ownership of the entire process to ensure successful outcomes and future implementations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive technical and process improvements that support sales teams, revenue growth, implementation efficiency, and customer success.
  • Lead team initiatives that contribute significantly to the company's success.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Lumos market and its use cases, providing internal feedback on market trends, customer successes, and common issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales role within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience in the identity or cybersecurity industry is a plus.
  • Proven success in managing the pre-sales process for enterprise customers with complex solution requirements.
  • Proficiency with APIs and familiarity with Python or similar programming languages.
  • An empathetic and customer-centric approach.
  • A desire to work in a high-growth startup environment with evolving resources.

Pay Range

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000. This is an estimate, and the final pay may vary based on skills and experience.
