As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you'll be a key player in ensuring customers maximize the value of the Vanta Trust Management platform, working in partnership with Account Management and Customer Success teams to drive renewals and product adoption. You’ll also serve as a bridge between product development and customers, providing valuable feedback to continuously improve Vanta. Vanta has a kind and talented SE team, and while some members have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing, technical experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent title.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, comfortable presenting to various audiences.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects independently to completion.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure & Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and cloud application architecture.
  • Strong project management skills, adaptable to a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Creative, curious, technical, and naturally persuasive.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to interact with various titles and roles within an organization, including technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations is a plus.
  • Prior B2B SaaS experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and drive renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong technical partnerships with customers through product demonstrations, trials, and communications.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Influence Vanta’s strategy and product priorities to drive adoption and retention.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Vanta’s product capabilities, integrations, configurations, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve customer business issues and achieve mutual goals.
  • Develop processes and workflows to scale a best-in-class Solutions Engineering organization.
