Requirements

Candidates should have 6 years of experience in technical training, enablement, or a field-facing technical role. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for conveying complex technical concepts. Proven ability to rapidly develop expertise in 1Password's architecture, leveraging a strong foundation in related technologies and awareness of current cybersecurity trends, is required. Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies like ADDIE or Blooms, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, a problem-solving mindset, and adaptability to shifting priorities are also necessary. Experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company and the ability to travel domestically and globally 1-2 times per quarter are expected.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Enablement Manager will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive technical training and enablement programs tailored to internal teams, working cross-functionally with subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with product features, use cases, and industry best practices. Responsibilities include utilizing various training methods such as e-learning, in-person workshops, and hands-on labs, as well as generating technical guides, tutorials, and FAQs to support product knowledge, implementation, and troubleshooting. The role also involves developing and maintaining a technical resource repository, becoming a subject matter expert in 1Password offerings and the cybersecurity ecosystem, and staying updated with new products, releases, and enhancements. Collaboration with technical leadership, internal teams, and subject matter experts to align enablement strategy with goals, and creating strong feedback loops with Product Marketing for program improvement are key duties.
