Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience in learning development, multimedia design, and instructional design, with a strong understanding of adult learning theories and curriculum development principles. Proficiency is required in authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate, as well as multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.). The role also requires audio/video editing capabilities, strong graphic design and visual storytelling abilities, excellent project management and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and strong quality assurance capabilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills, the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, and a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Instructional Technology, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Multimedia Specialist will collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to analyze training needs and define project goals. They will design and develop interactive learning modules, convert existing instructor-led training materials into asynchronous, on-demand courses, and create visually appealing multimedia content including graphics, animations, audio, and video. Responsibilities also include ensuring eLearning content is SCORM-compliant and compatible with LMS, testing and troubleshooting modules, applying accessibility standards, and maintaining/updating existing courses. The specialist will act as a subject matter expert on professional multimedia development for internal teams and stay current with learning development trends, tools, and best practices.
