Requirements

Candidates must possess over 7 years of experience in digital advertising or performance marketing with a strong focus on retail media strategy and execution. Proven ability to lead and grow large client portfolios within complex retail environments such as Amazon, Walmart Connect, and Instacart is required. Advanced knowledge of retail media ecosystems including Sponsored Ads, DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and third-party bid management platforms like Skai and Pacvue is necessary. A strong understanding of both Vendor Central and Seller Central platforms, along with demonstrated success advising senior-level client stakeholders and driving long-term partnerships through strategic leadership, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Retail Media will provide strategic leadership and oversight across a large portfolio of global, enterprise retail media accounts, ensuring excellence in performance, innovation, and client satisfaction. They will serve as a senior advisor to C-level and VP stakeholders, translating complex business goals into actionable, data-led media strategies. Responsibilities include driving full-funnel retail media strategies using advanced analytics and tools, leading the integration of cross-disciplinary efforts, and owning and evolving strategic planning processes. The role also involves collaborating with Business Development and Marketing leadership on new business pitches and market expansion, championing internal knowledge-sharing and process development, and leading, mentoring, and growing a team of retail media specialists and managers.
