Candidates must possess a B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience, along with practitioner or admin-level experience with the Accela Civic Platform. Required qualifications include expertise in SaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, and application servers; experience with enterprise application integration, data migration, and business intelligence; at least 2 years of experience converting data to/from Oracle & SQL Server with strong database concepts and PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting; the ability to lead customer-facing sessions and explain technical issues to non-technical audiences; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent customer service; and the ability to prioritize and thrive in fast-paced environments, while also being an independent contributor who collaborates effectively within teams. Desired qualifications include previous professional services or consulting experience, government domain expertise, experience leading reporting teams, and programming skills such as C#.
The Senior Consultant will transform complex government data into intuitive reports and dashboards on the Accela Civic Platform, leading on-time, on-budget implementations of reporting solutions and data conversions while collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams. They will analyze client and implementation team needs to deliver scalable solutions, design with a focus on user experience, performance, and maintainability, and architect innovative data solutions with the Data Architect. The role involves owning reporting and conversion tasks, enhancing and evangelizing best practices, tools, and frameworks, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and project teams, and mentoring junior consultants. Travel up to 40% to client sites and industry events is expected.
