Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience selling to or managing customers, with a strong ability to prospect and build pipeline independently. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is a high degree of motivation, a sense of urgency, and adaptability. Previous experience in security and compliance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the expansion and retention of a subset of Vanta’s customers by developing and maintaining strong relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. They will serve as the primary point of contact for post-sale commercial conversations, including mid-cycle upsells and renewals, and will manage the entire sales cycle for expansion or renewal opportunities. Responsibilities include understanding customer business needs, aligning Vanta’s solutions with their objectives, collaborating on account plans to identify new opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue, and maintaining a clean Salesforce instance.
