They should be comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization, be entrepreneurial and self-motivated, and enthusiastic about learning and growing. Intellectual curiosity and ambition are essential, with knowledge or experience in the developer tool space and selling to mid-market companies being a plus.
The Mid-Market Account Executive will qualify and convert inbound leads, prospect into ICP target accounts, and articulate and sell the value of LaunchDarkly's platform subscriptions. Responsibilities include running discovery sessions, understanding third-party architectures, customizing and delivering demos with Solutions Engineering, and running proofs of concept. The role involves owning and developing relationships with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, consistently hitting revenue targets, and educating customers on LaunchDarkly's adoption. They will also deliver customer feedback to product and engineering teams, maintain product and process knowledge, keep SFDC, Aviso, and Outreach data up-to-date, and accurately forecast sales targets.
