Candidates should have 3-5 years of top performance as a Senior Account Executive or similar role in B2B SaaS, a proven track record of consistently achieving quota and goals, and familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar structured sales methodology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to uncover business needs and recommend relevant solutions, strong organizational skills, and creative problem-solving abilities are also required. Experience selling Marketing Technology products is a bonus.
The Senior Account Executive will manage qualified leads from inbound and outbound teams, run discovery calls using MEDDPICC, and drive full-cycle deals to close. They will collaborate with a dedicated Sr. SDR on account targeting, sales strategy, and prospecting, schedule and deliver compelling online demos for qualified prospects, and uncover customer business needs to position Customer.io’s solutions effectively. Responsibilities also include owning numbers by tracking and reporting on sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance, and self-sourcing pipeline as needed to stay on track for quota attainment, using value-based selling to communicate platform features and benefits.
