Position Overview

Q2 is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Specialist Analyst to join our Sales organization. This role supports a team of Sales Specialists, contributing significantly to the growth and success of both Q2 and its clients. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and a thoughtful relationship builder with a knack for inspiring action and creatively solving problems. Your primary goal will be to develop, execute, and track sales campaigns for banking institutions across the United States, while also streamlining the sales process for Sales Specialists.

A Typical Day

  • Generate and qualify leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Plan and implement projects to support the sales specialist teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales Specialists to create, maintain, and execute strategic territory management plans.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including creating newsletters, scheduling demos, and generating reports.
  • Document and track lead generation activities and results in Salesforce.
  • Align financial institution needs and goals with Q2 solutions to maximize value.
  • Schedule and participate in discovery calls with clients and Sales Specialists.
  • Attend monthly calls with Client Success Managers (CSMs) and Product Owners.
  • Participate in marketing events and follow up on trade show leads.
  • Maintain successful relationships with clients, CSMs, Sales Specialists, and Product and Marketing colleagues.
  • Maintain client reference lists for assigned products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of previous sales, marketing, and/or sales support experience.
  • Understanding of and successful experience with complex sales processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organization and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and Gong is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time during normal business operating hours.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.
