Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of leadership experience managing, training, and scaling a high-performance sales team in a high-growth, client acquisition sales environment. A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals and quotas is essential, along with experience leading and motivating teams remotely. Demonstrated success in forecasting, setting objectives, analyzing sales performance data, and expert communication skills are required. Experience partnering with sales training on onboarding and continuing education, along with effective delegation and process management, is also necessary. A background selling within the FinTech industry and experience selling into the wealth management space are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will execute acquisition strategies to drive growth within the sales organization, reporting to the Director of Sales and working closely with the VP of Sales. Key responsibilities include executing the go-to-market strategy for the SmartAsset Advisor Marketing Platform (AMP) and developing mid- to long-term product sales strategies. The role involves recruiting top sales talent, coaching, motivating, and developing a senior-level individual contributor team, and setting/tracking AE improvement objectives using data analysis to enhance sales effectiveness. Additionally, the Sales Manager will maintain a strong understanding of market trends in the financial advisory industry, partner with senior leadership across departments to execute strategy, and collaborate with HRBP on employee engagement, workforce planning, and performance management.
