Requirements

Candidates must be top performers in a similar role, consistently exceeding targets, and possess investment expertise with regulatory experience, including a CFA or CIM designation and at least 2 years of experience in a CIRO or OSC regulated role with deep market and investment solution knowledge. A diverse client book with existing COI relationships and networks that generate real opportunities is essential, along with resilience, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of the High Net Worth market.

Responsibilities

The Lead Advisor will focus on acquiring new high-net-worth clients ($500K+), expanding and running their pre-existing pipeline of external prospects and COIs, and developing human-first sourcing strategies to acquire and anchor new clients, potentially closing over $50M in new assets annually. They will partner closely with Wealth Management service advisors to transition new clients, identify opportunities to connect clients to the broader Wealthsimple ecosystem, and evolve systems, processes, and culture within Wealth Management to create an innovative client experience. Additionally, they will act as the face of Wealthsimple at events, in their network, and in the market.
