Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, business administration, or engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Technical Support roles within a B2B SaaS company is required, along with experience working with customers in regulated industries. Proven experience with Financial Compliance, Contact Center Recording, and Analytics is essential. Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and product-specific software are necessary. The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions, knowledge of the sales process, and the capacity to work under pressure managing multiple priorities are also key requirements. Experience with call recording on platforms like Cisco, Webex, or Microsoft Teams and configuring mobile applications are preferred qualifications. This position may require travel.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will provide pre-sales support by engaging with potential clients to understand their technical requirements and pain points, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, and collaborating with the sales team to create tailored proposals. They will develop technical content to aid the sales process, work with Product and InfoSec teams for security assessments and RFPs, and ensure successful customer Proofs of Concept (POCs). Responsibilities include demonstrating deep product knowledge, staying updated on industry trends, and providing technical assistance for product configuration. The role involves designing and proposing solutions based on customer needs, customizing configurations, and acting as the technical point of contact. They will also address client inquiries, resolve technical issues during the sales cycle, ensure smooth product implementation post-sale, and provide customer training and technical support to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities. The Sales Engineer will assist the sales team in closing deals, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
