Candidates should have customer-facing contact center experience, including building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions. Experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP, along with hands-on scripting/coding in languages like Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js is required. Strong communication and presentation skills, API integration experience, and proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging are essential. Experience with Cloudformation, Contact Flow Design, Lambda Integration, Lex Integration, and Call Center Routing is necessary. Candidates must also understand and document infrastructure requirements, including resource types, networking, security, and compliance needs, and possess knowledge of automation tools and frameworks for build.
The AWS Technical Architect will ensure customer success in building and launching Amazon Connect solutions, conduct technology assessments to identify needs for moving to the AWS Connect Platform, and facilitate business process reviews to identify customer requirements. They will educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, participate in architectural discussions, lead discovery, help build ROIs, and deliver presentations. The role involves translating customer requirements into contact center designs, overseeing and mentoring technical teams, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include driving best practice contact center design, managing project and customer communications, delivering end-user training and documentation, exercising independent judgment on enterprise-level projects, and leading vision and strategy discussions with leadership.
