Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in B2B SaaS Sales Development and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience with outbound prospecting, cold-calling, and working with IT, Security, or GRC buyers is required, with cybersecurity sales experience being a plus. The ability to work EST/CST hours and prior fully remote work experience are strongly preferred, along with strong communication skills, ethics, adaptability, grit, and empathy, and a desire to work in a startup environment.
The Sales Development Representative will own the outbound sales engine and help build pipeline by identifying key decision makers and prospects within designated segments. They will take a creative approach to building value-based outreach plans, share best practices with the sales team, and create a positive first impression by building relationships and explaining Lumos' value proposition. Responsibilities also include responding to and qualifying inbound inquiries by identifying customer needs and providing feedback to improve SDR effectiveness.
