Requirements

Candidates should have at least 1 year of sales experience, such as an SDR, BDR, or sales internship, or equivalent business experience with a strong interest in SaaS sales. A passion for helping nonprofits and understanding their challenges is essential, along with a self-starter mentality, resilience, persistence, and strong communication and storytelling skills. Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, or 6Sense is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Outbound Business Development Representative will generate new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential nonprofit customers. They will master Bloomerang's product and value proposition, prospect and engage decision-makers through various channels, and create and nurture a pipeline of qualified meetings. This role involves close collaboration with the Account Executive team, consistent achievement of business development targets, and accurate maintenance of sales data and lead tracking in Salesforce.
