The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of enterprise/strategic sales experience targeting Security (SIEM & Observability) and IT personas (CISO/CIOs), with experience in direct or indirect sales roles. Experience with early-stage startups (under 1,000 employees) or demonstrated entrepreneurial skills is required, along with a proven ability to close large upsell and cross-sell deals and manage complex sales processes. Experience selling through a channel-led motion, creating demand in a territory, selling un-budgeted solutions, and a background using MEDDIC are also necessary.
The Product Sales Specialist will champion Cribl's Storage & Analysis product lines by articulating the value proposition, executing sales processes, and expanding product adoption within existing customers. Responsibilities include developing business plans to exceed sales goals, collaborating with Solution Engineers and Regional Sales Managers on opportunities, and managing the entire sales ecosystem from lead generation to closing. The role involves influencing the product roadmap, forecasting predictably, hitting sales targets, and traveling across the US for 25-35% of the time.
