Requirements

  • Graduate or Post Graduate in Finance or business studies
  • 10-15 years of sales experience within the IT industry
  • 5-10 years of experience in the Insurance industry
  • Proven track record in software license and services sales
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with senior management (C-level), staff, and third parties professionally
  • Existing relationships in the insurance industry
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and local language
  • Experience in the bid process and preparation of sales proposals; ability to put together proposals
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of time for business development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of selling, qualifying, and closing large and/or difficult opportunities
  • Act as a subject matter expert on company and competitor offerings and services
  • Mentor less experienced personnel in sales generation
  • Achieve demand generation and sales to the Insurance industry for products/services including Core Insurance administration systems (Life, General, Group, Pensions, Reinsurance), Cloud/SaaS, Point of Sale/Mobility solutions, Insurance Business Analytics, Application Management Outsourcing, Imaging/Document Management, DXC partner license sales, and Integration Services (e.g., Portals, Middleware)
  • Meet sales quotas covering license, support services, implementation services, and application management services in designated territories
  • Work with partners (e.g., AWS, SAP, Opentext, AWD) to package complementary applications and solutions
  • In first 3 months: Understand DXC Insurance offerings and sales processes; build credible pipeline with plan to close business
  • In first 1 year: Meet sales goals (USD 1M License Fee, 1M ASF, 7M Services); establish qualified pipeline for year 2 (1.5M License Fee, 1.5M ASF, 8M Services)
