Candidates must have 8-12 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a Client Partner or equivalent professional services delivery role. Experience selling into large enterprise Life Sciences and/or High-Tech customers and managing/negotiating large enterprise deals is required. Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, negotiating complex, high-value agreements, and managing long sales cycles is essential. An extensive background in program delivery, including solution design, program leadership, and consulting engagements, is necessary. Strong ability to partner with software sales executives to attach consulting services to software deals and drive pipeline growth is required. Experience using Salesforce (SFDC) is necessary, and the ability to travel approximately 10-25% is expected.
The Professional Services Account Executive will accelerate the growth of the Global Services business by leading complex sales pursuits and closing high-value engagements. They will shape, manage, and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand the services pipeline, achieve booking targets, and align with business objectives. Responsibilities include designing and executing targeted sales strategies for territory management, building and applying deep industry knowledge as a subject matter expert, and developing strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining precise updates of opportunities, deal progression, and forecasts in Salesforce, owning the full sales cycle from qualification through closure, and leading cross-functional pursuit teams. Additionally, the Account Executive will create and deliver high-quality service proposals, executive presentations, and Statements of Work (SOWs), negotiate effectively to protect client and Model N interests, and contribute to industry credibility through thought leadership.
