Requirements

Candidates should have 7-12 years of HR or People Operations experience, with 2-3 years focused on end-to-end programs in scaling or high-growth SaaS or technology-driven environments, including in-house SaaS experience. A strong track record in recruiting technical and non-technical talent, operational strength in building systems, strategic thinking to translate people initiatives into business outcomes, and proven resource planning & advocacy skills are required. A deep understanding of Canadian employment law, with U.S. knowledge as a strong plus, and hands-on experience with HR analytics and tech platforms are also necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The People & Culture Manager will own and scale core people initiatives including growth and development, performance management, total rewards, and manager enablement, aligning them with business objectives. This role involves defining success metrics, reporting on SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with managers on capacity tracking and resourcing predictions. Responsibilities also include overseeing recruitment operations, advising on employment law and policy interpretation, building frameworks for pay decisions, and shaping the employee experience through clarity, fairness, enablement, trust, and growth.
