Candidates should possess 4-12 years of experience in channel sales, channel management, business development, or other partner/customer-facing roles. A deep understanding of channel and partnering models is essential, along with domain knowledge in Application Security, SecOps, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, or related fields. Experience and connections with major cybersecurity resellers are highly valued, as is regional experience within the East states. Startup experience and a "roll up the sleeve" spirit are also required, alongside highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
The Channel Account Manager will deliver and exceed sales goals for targeted partner accounts, building and managing a pipeline of new opportunities from introduction to discovery. Responsibilities include providing regular reporting of pipeline activity and forecasting with high accuracy, updating management on partner status and recruitment, and organizing/running channel training for sales and technical enablement. The role involves analyzing sales statistics to identify growth opportunities with resellers and consulting partners, making recommendations for resource investment, and developing/implementing channel sales programs and processes to drive new revenue. Additionally, the manager will deliver sales presentations to key partners and clients in coordination with partner representatives and collaborate closely with direct sales, SDRs, Marketing, Ops, and Product teams.
