Responsibilities
Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals
Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the cloud-based Point of Sale solution
Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services
Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
Closing sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area
Working closely with the local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships
Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses
Maintaining existing/prospective client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information
Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments, to secure quota
Continuously building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry
Attending weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader
Participating in training period where District Manager accompanies on initial appointments using CRM platforms (Atlas and Salesforce) for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing
