Candidates must possess at least 15 years of professional experience, including 7+ years of exceeding sales objectives for technical solutions and software products to enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, and startups. A strong track record of meeting revenue targets in competitive markets, familiarity with solution-based selling, experience managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills are required. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships, along with strong executive communication skills, is essential. In-depth knowledge of AI/ML and Transformation technologies, with proven expertise in driving sales initiatives in these domains, is necessary. Demonstrated experience in selling business outcomes and solutions for complex, transformative business problems, including architecting complex agentic AI solutions and writing/negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs), is also required. Experience navigating and closing complex sales cycles is a must.
The AI Solution Sales Specialist will achieve pipeline generation and revenue targets by developing sales strategies and executing tailored sales plays for AI/ML opportunities. They will work directly with customers to understand AI/ML needs, communicate insights to inform product roadmaps, and become an expert in Snowflake's AI/ML solutions to provide executive-level insights. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Sales, Industry Specialists, Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and AI Product teams to drive customer engagements, tracking and reporting on AI/ML sales performance, and integrating AI/ML sales efforts with go-to-market plans. The role involves conducting in-depth discovery to understand business challenges, architecting sophisticated agentic AI solutions, developing Statements of Work (SOWs), navigating complex sales cycles, negotiating commercial terms, and influencing/advising at the highest customer levels.
