The Operations Manager will plan and coordinate daily logistics personnel and functions, communicate company values and objectives, and oversee staff performance. Key duties include optimizing delivery operations, ensuring regulatory compliance for drivers, promoting vehicle safety, managing driver schedules, preparing routes, troubleshooting delivery issues, overseeing truck loading, maintaining maintenance logs, and performing minor equipment repairs. This role also involves responding to inquiries, performing on-call duties, and supervising a team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
