Requirements

Candidates must possess deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer proficiency. Strong communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills are essential. The ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues is required. Prior retail management or supervisory experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. This includes overall store management, supervision, policy implementation, sales and inventory management, employee staffing, training, and development, financial management, and customer service leadership. The Operations Manager will lead others, work effectively with store crews, supervise and direct crew activities, communicate information effectively, and support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvements. They will also assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints and promote the CVS customer service culture.
