Candidates should possess at least one year of prospecting or closing experience in a sales role, demonstrating ambition to build a sales playbook, and exhibiting a technical background or curiosity in technology. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
The New Business Account Executive will be responsible for winning new business by identifying and engaging prospective customers, educating them about Tailscale's services, and guiding them through the sales cycle to achieve purchase. They will also experiment with market landscapes and customer trends to inform sales campaigns, travel to or organize local/industry events to evangelize Tailscale, support customers across all time zones, and manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts using Gong and Salesforce.
