As a Software Engineer on the In-Store Systems team, you will develop, scale, and monitor solutions and services that facilitate the transmission of online orders to our customers. This position is fully remote and contracted through Deel, Olo's Employer of Record. You’ll work with a passionate team dedicated to delivering amazing products using modern technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with designing and implementing scalable, high-quality components and services.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to monitoring and improving system performance.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, high-quality components and services.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making, including solution design and architecture.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Document and share knowledge effectively.
  • Champion best practices in software development.

  • This position is contracted through Deel, Olo’s Employer of Record. You will work directly with Olo, but Deel will handle all legal and administrative employment responsibilities.
