Loopio is seeking a Manager, Business Development to lead, coach, and inspire a team of BDRs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of a rapidly expanding company and play a key role in building a high-performing team. The role focuses on driving pipeline growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and collaborating with various teams to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Sales/Business Development management or team-lead experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • Proven experience prospecting in the enterprise space.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Coaching: Leading and coaching a team of Business Development Reps to consistently generate high-quality outbound opportunities and drive pipeline growth.
  • Development & Training: Playing an active, hands-on role in the development of BDRs, with a strong focus on improving qualification processes, asking impactful business questions, and increasing SQL to SAO conversion rates.
  • Playbook Development: Establishing and reinforcing a best-in-class outbound prospecting playbook, ensuring creativity and data-driven approaches are at the core of our outreach strategy.
  • Performance Analysis: Conducting regular 1-on-1s, customized training sessions, and collaborative call reviews to improve individual performance and develop a culture of continuous learning. Analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and ensure alignment with Sales and Marketing goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and the Revenue Operations team to strengthen cross-functional communication and roll out strategic projects.
  • Hiring & Onboarding: Owning the hiring, ramping, and ongoing development of top talent to build a high-performing team.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Partnering with Sales Enablement to refine onboarding programs and design impactful, ongoing coaching initiatives.
  • Culture & Urgency: Fostering a culture of urgency, accountability, and growth within the team to ensure pipeline targets are consistently met.
