Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical
  • Experience in plastic extrusion equipment (preferable) or in any other industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies, equipment troubleshooting, and repair processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle the challenges of a new business environment
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage activities while meeting deadlines considering all challenges
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Outstanding skills in English (written and verbal) & Portuguese
  • Results Orientation, Planning, organization, and management capacity

Responsibilities

  • Ensure and monitor the preventive maintenance plan for equipment
  • Control the inventory of spare parts to comply with the preventive and curative maintenance plan
  • Monitor corrective actions, analyze the type of problems, and prepare plans to resolve them
  • Supervise activities related to the installation of new equipment in the plant
  • Participate in the objectives to be achieved by the department, especially in metrics directly related to its responsibilities
  • Participate in the study of new equipment or modification of existing equipment, to achieve the defined objectives of quality improvement, increased efficiency and cost reduction with a view to constant improvement
  • Ensure the organization of maintenance areas
  • Participate in the planning of department activities
