Requirements

  • College graduate preferred, or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of facilities management and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of vertical and horizontal buildings and high-rise boiler and chiller systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 60% per year
  • Flexible and comfortable with re-prioritizing in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a portfolio-wide preventative maintenance program
  • Develop an effective training curriculum for maintenance and facilities team members
  • Manage assigned capital projects
  • Develop a site inspection program to identify deficiencies and future projects
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors, General Managers, and Regional Managers to identify areas of improvement
  • Assist with the procurement and ongoing administration of a preventative and predictive maintenance program
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, federal, state, and local laws and company policies
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of maintenance programs
  • Provide technical expertise and assist with developing training programs for facilities and maintenance personnel
  • Assist with establishing safety processes in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Assist property management personnel with the implementation of operational programs
  • Provide technical expertise and assist with developing scopes of work for assigned capital projects
  • Facilitate and conduct annual inspections and assessments
