Candidates must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license, with preference for licenses from New York, Illinois, Colorado, and Washington. A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician is required, along with thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and a strong understanding of electrical theory and practical application. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams is essential, as well as experience with various electrical testing equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also required.
The Journeyman Electrician will install and troubleshoot electrical components such as wiring, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and panels supporting Flock products. They will perform testing and troubleshooting using various electrical testing equipment and adhere to all safety regulations and NEC codes. They will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems efficiently, estimate time and materials required for projects, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality. The role may involve training and mentoring apprentice electricians, working with a bucket truck or ladder to service equipment up to 30 feet high, and maintaining accurate records of work performed while communicating effectively with both internal teams and customers.
