Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS/ME/EE/B Eng. degree in engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree in a relevant field being preferred. A background in Industrial, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics is required, along with 5-10 years of combined relevant integrated supply chain experience and over 5 years of preferred relevant Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) experience. Proven experience is necessary in core vs. non-core evaluation, capacity and utilization analysis, cost analysis (including make vs. buy), new product introductions, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), capital investment management, facility relocations, operations management, project/program management, and data analytics. A demonstrated understanding of global materials management, supply chain/logistics management, manufacturing engineering processes, and trends is essential, along with the capability to manage multiple global projects and demonstrated project leadership skills. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader is responsible for executing the global manufacturing strategy across all manufacturing locations, laboratories, and test facilities worldwide. This includes developing and optimizing processes to align with manufacturing strategy playbooks, roadmaps, and investments to meet customer needs and effectively utilize company assets. The role focuses on fabrication processes, assembly, manufacturing automation, process digitization, electronic test support, process standardization, and achieving best-in-class performance through standard work and best practice leverage in areas like maintenance and new product development/introduction. Key duties include supporting large capital investment initiatives, executing global manufacturing strategy and footprint initiatives, creating and maintaining capacity and utilization plans, leading facility transitions and process optimization, partnering with manufacturing facilities for efficiency improvements, supporting fabrication and assembly processes with automation, implementing process digitization and Industry 4.0, ensuring new products are manufacturable, supporting mergers and acquisitions by evaluating operational risks, implementing TPM for Americas sites, and collaborating with Procurement on make vs. buy processes. The leader will also anticipate manufacturing trends to implement new technology and act as a champion for Total Productive Maintenance.
