Candidates should possess a tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role. They must have experience with operating a service-oriented architecture and/or container orchestration (such as Kubernetes), and familiarity with cloud environments. Knowledge of various automation tools like Terraform and Vault, as well as scripting/coding and common programming languages, is required.
The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for securing, monitoring, and maintaining Stitch’s product infrastructure and connectivity, working closely with engineering to improve development, deployment, and release processes. They will build tooling to enable developers to monitor the reliability of their services and ensure a level of reliability in new services, providing guidance and support to teams implementing SLOs, and reducing the cost of failure by minimizing problem discovery time and time to repair.
