Requirements

Candidates should have proven account management experience within the technology space, with a travel industry background being an advantage. Tech-savviness and the ability to communicate technical product features effectively are essential. Knowledge of the Portuguese travel industry and previous experience with travel technology products is desired. The role requires excellent negotiation skills, including experience with contracts and processes, and project management experience would be beneficial. Proven experience in solution-based sales with superior presentation skills is necessary, along with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and team-building skills. Candidates must be willing to work independently as a self-starter and be comfortable in a dynamic, target-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously. Expertise in technology support and customer technical issues management is desired, as is experience working with, creating, and executing customer and/or commercial value propositions in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and very well-organized, with native Portuguese and fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

The Junior Account Manager will proactively manage and grow the customer portfolio while exceeding semi-annual and annual revenue goals. This includes developing retention strategies and customer growth plans, and generating proposals that meet aggressive sales objectives. The role is responsible for developing and nurturing multiple key client relationships with customers, complemented by superior customer service. Collaboration with the product team to create solutions tailored to exceed client expectations and communication of account forecasts and sales strategy with the local Head of Sales are key duties. The position involves delivering world-class products and services through profitable renewal, conversion, and new sale development. Responsibilities also include interfacing with cross-functional product, support, and marketing teams connected to projects in the Portuguese market, and maintaining a high level of customer involvement to position Sabre as an innovative growing player. The role requires meeting and exceeding annual quotas for forecasted bookings and helping to develop key vendor partnerships. Working with the Customer Enablement organization and all other entities within Sabre to ensure customer satisfaction and effectively cross-selling opportunities with other Sabre products and services are also part of the responsibilities.
