Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of HR Generalist experience with a broad understanding of HR functions, including employee relations and hiring. A proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a bias for action, and proficiency in Google Suite are required. Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and best practices is essential, with multi-state experience preferred. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) and experience with HR tools like UKG, Greenhouse, Rippling, and Jira are preferred, as is experience in a startup or SaaS environment and with near/offshore talent.

Responsibilities

The HR Generalist will oversee and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, partner on implementing scalable HR processes and tools, and collaborate on developing employee handbooks and policies. This role involves managing the international contractor workforce lifecycle, organizing the performance management process, and driving initiatives to improve employee engagement, recognition, and retention. Responsibilities also include supporting workforce planning, managing the DEIB Council, serving as a central point for HR communications, coordinating company-wide all-hands meetings, gathering feedback on communications, and providing backup to Business Partners and Talent Acquisition, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
