Lead Technology Leadership Professional

Position Overview

The Lead Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. This role involves solving complex business and technical problems, possessing functional knowledge of critical HR systems, managing leadership communication, collaborating with project management on enterprise release plans, and driving project completion. The ideal candidate will take initiative in solving issues, streamlining processes, and possess AI knowledge and capabilities related to HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with design engineering, business teams, Project Management, product teams, and other IT teams, along with procurement, vendor management, and test teams, to drive products from ideation phase to volume production release.
  • Understand business problems or requirements, collaborate with business teams and solution architects to drive solutions from concept to release.
  • Perform various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs.
  • Support product evaluation and qualification on leading-edge technology components.
  • Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Interact with product engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to resolve customer product-related problems/issues.
  • Advise executives on developing functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision.
  • Analyze variable factors and determine the best course of action.
  • Drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, support the team, and demonstrate a desire to expand and grow.
  • Leverage AI experience in HR systems.
  • Utilize HR system experience such as Workday, ServiceNow, Phenom, and Anaplan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years in HR systems, particularly.
  • 10+ years in IT.
  • 2+ years of project leadership experience.
  • Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure.
  • Experience with unit testing and mocking.
  • Experience with AI.
  • Experience with Vendor and resource management.
  • Experience driving enterprise-wide projects/programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
  • Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other Advanced Degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to run large-scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams.
  • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • ITIL certification.

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
  • Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed of 25x10 (25mbps download x 10mbps upload) is required for optimal performance.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel

  • While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
