Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required, with at least 2 years in an operations role. Proven experience leading and developing teams, including direct management experience, is preferred. A strong understanding of HRIS systems such as BambooHR, SuccessFactors, or Rippling is necessary, along with a solid grasp of employee lifecycle processes, performance management, and HR operational best practices. Experience supporting HR programs and process improvements in a multi-stakeholder environment, basic knowledge of employment law, employee records management, and compliance requirements, and demonstrated experience improving operational processes and supporting change management initiatives are also essential.
The Manager, People Operations will support the configuration and maintenance of HR systems and workflows, and lead employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and transfers. They will manage and develop a team of People Operations Coordinators, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development. This role involves coordinating performance management cycles, learning and development programs, and employee engagement initiatives, while ensuring process compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The manager will stay current on HR operational best practices to recommend process improvements, partner with stakeholders to enhance employee experience and streamline HR processes, and support HR system adoption through training coordination and documentation maintenance. Additionally, they will assist with vendor relationship management and system optimization projects, generate regular reporting and support data analysis for people metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on people-related projects and initiatives.
