Candidates should possess 5+ years of industry expertise in software, human capital management technology, staffing, or recruiting, demonstrating a consistent achievement of sales goals within a team-based selling motion. Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying problems and finding solutions are essential, along with a strategic and creative thinking ability to understand industry and customer trends and apply those insights to deliver business results.
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek expansion opportunities to grow overall client revenue. You will demonstrate a strong business case for Upwork through a consultative and value-driven sales process, meet and exceed your sales growth goals by forging relationships with key decision makers, identify, prioritize, and track progress towards key account metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle. You will also present to a wide audience of potential buyers, stay current on clients' business and objectives, and play well with team members through collaboration.
