Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture role is required. Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with experience in security and compliance frameworks such as PII, PCI, and HIPAA, is essential. A strong technical background in SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, is also necessary.
The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will act as the technical lead throughout the sales process, managing discovery, demos, and proof-of-concepts, and collaborating with Customer Success and Professional Services for customer expansion. This role involves translating complex requirements into technical solutions, conducting customer presentations and demonstrations, and partnering with account executives to create compelling technical proposals. Responsibilities also include building credibility with prospects, fostering internal champions, serving as a liaison between clients and product/engineering teams, maintaining deep product and industry knowledge, leading technical responses for security questionnaires and RFPs, and traveling as needed for customer meetings and industry events.
