Coder is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team and focus on customer onboarding and ensuring a best-in-class experience. This role is strategically important for a rapidly growing technology startup, allowing you to shape customer adoption, define best practices within the Coder Development Environment (CDE), and champion customer feedback to the engineering team. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering world-class architectures based on customer needs, performing customer onboarding, and proactively addressing potential issues.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
  • Technical Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience.
  • Enterprise Experience: Experience working hands-on with engineers at enterprise companies, with a deep understanding of their constraints, needs, and issues, especially early post-sales.
  • Customer Facing Skills: Strong customer-facing skills, including the ability to earn trust from technical contacts on the customer side.
  • Customer Empathy: Understanding of customer workflows and the ability to determine if the best technical solution aligns with their needs.
  • Application Development: Experience with application development and a firm understanding of how large enterprise systems work.

Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design: Design and deliver world-class architectures based on customer assessment and needs.
  • Customer Onboarding: Perform customer onboarding, periodic reviews, and proactively alert customers of any impending issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Coder products, functions, features, and benefits.
  • Proactive Support: Predict issues/concerns and ability to elevate them to the appropriate point of contact and manage to a swift resolution.
  • Documentation & Training: Updating product documentation, writing how-to guides, and creating statements of work for contracts.
  • Feedback Loop: Bringing customer feedback to engineering to ensure the product continues to be easier to onboard and use over time.
