Requirements

  • Prior Enterprise sales experience strongly preferred; exposure to Solution Selling, Consultative Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, or Challenger helpful

Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline through up-selling and cross-selling into existing accounts, referrals, marketing & business development leads, and cold-calling
  • Work independently to deliver the value of WP Engine's product to prospective customers and know when to pull in others as a force multiplier
  • Close deals and understand it is essential to forecast accurately and keep Salesforce.com updated
  • Efficiently schedule and run customer meetings, easily creating quotes and proposals
  • Understand when to bring in Leadership and/or Sales Engineers to assist with closing a deal
  • Negotiate and be able to articulate what it takes to close the deal
  • Work with internal and external Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams to take a deal from Discovery to Closed Won
  • Provide sales reports to management and executives on a regular basis
