Requirements

Candidates must possess 15+ years of enterprise sales experience in the technology sector, with deep expertise in selling within the Database, Open Source, Messaging, or Big Data space into the Malaysian enterprise market. An ability to articulate and sell the business value of big data and its impact on businesses of all sizes is essential, along with experience selling to Software Developers or Technology leaders, including C-Suite executives, and prior experience in a sales role within a high-growth organization.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Strategic Account Executive will drive Confluent's business growth in Australia by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. This role involves driving and executing the go-to-market strategy for the region, delivering business outcomes for large enterprise customers through solution selling in the SaaS or Data space, building awareness for Kafka and Confluent, actively prospecting and developing sales pipelines in the Philippines to meet revenue objectives, and building strong relationships with new and existing Confluent partners.
