Requirements

Candidates should have field sales experience in the database, cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) industry, with a background in manufacturing or established industry relationships. Proficiency in building, managing, and developing relationships with new customers, as well as closing contracts is essential. The ability to strategically prospect new business using creative lead generation techniques is required, along with experience in accurately identifying customer challenges and value selling appropriate solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary, along with the capability to establish long-term relationships with executives. A passion for data technology and the ability to stay updated on industry trends through self-study is expected, as is experience in collaborating across various departments with a One Team mindset.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Account Executive will lead the data cloud for the manufacturing industry, driving data innovation in collaboration with customers and partners. They will conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations for potential customers while understanding their current and future IT roadmaps to promote Snowflake's solutions. The role involves identifying sales opportunities within assigned accounts, acquiring new customers, and maintaining existing ones. They will establish sales strategies using targeted prospect lists and account plans to achieve revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis. Building and nurturing close relationships with CxOs, IT executives, LOB executives, and other key stakeholders is a critical responsibility.
