Requirements

Candidates must have five or more years of competitive enterprise new business and/or account management experience in the network industry. Experience in developing business in an assigned territory to achieve pipeline growth over 100% is required, along with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding set sales targets. A hunter mentality with proven experience in effectively building quality pipeline, strong interpersonal skills including executive presence, and outstanding collaboration across groups and organizations are essential. The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is also necessary. Experience with regional partners and the distribution ecosystem, as well as knowledge of working with complex strategic accounts including calls on key decision makers, is required. Experience with Riverbed, Netscout, and other NPM solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive is responsible for increasing LiveAction market penetration, exceeding quarterly booking targets, and growing the book of business year over year. This includes developing and executing go-to-market sales strategies for existing and new accounts, managing complex sales situations and large projects from lead qualification to closing, and building and nurturing customer relationships. Responsibilities also involve making a significant contribution to building pipeline and closing net new sales, orchestrating partner/distributor resources, and working with Channel Account Managers to scale through the partner channel. The role requires managing business forecasting using Salesforce.com, collaborating closely with engineering to create integrated solutions, and working with marketing to refine solution positioning. Presenting at industry events and tradeshows is also part of the role.
