Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in Partner Sales, Channel Management, Cloud and Tech Alliances or similar roles, preferably in the Cloud or FinOps industry. They must be comfortable carrying a partner sales quota, developing net new partner opportunities, and possess a proven track record of growing and managing successful partner sales relationships. A strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel sales, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential. Strategic thinking ability, proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce and partner management platforms, and a self-starter mentality are also required. A kind disposition is a plus.
The Channel Account Executive will develop and implement partner sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. This includes identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new MSP partners, and building strong, long-term relationships with them. They will provide partners with sales enablement resources, collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams, and track/analyze partner performance. The role involves leading joint go-to-market efforts, serving as the primary point of contact for partners, and reporting on partner sales performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
